Several outlets (Dexerto, PCGuide, GameSpot) have reported on information sourced from retailer product listings that were published and then taken down, mentioning gameplay details never confirmed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.

Among the elements mentioned: a dynamic weather system (including storms that physically affect driving and NPC behavior), expanded wildlife including alligators, boars, sharks and dolphins, and several hundred enterable locations (shops, motels, restaurants, an explorable mall, a Vice City metro station).

The same listings reportedly mention NPCs with advanced daily routines and an in-game social network accessible from the character's phone, letting players discover side events or missions.

None of these elements have been confirmed or mentioned by any official Rockstar Games communication to date. They should be treated as unverified rumors that may not reflect the final game.
