On December 4, 2023, Rockstar Games released the first official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, on its YouTube channel and via an article published on the Rockstar Newswire.
The trailer confirms the return of Vice City as the game's main setting, part of a larger state named Leonida, inspired by Florida. It also introduces the two playable protagonists: Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, marking the series' first duo of lead characters.
Rockstar Games also announced that Grand Theft Auto VI is in development for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
