Jason Duval is one of GTA 6's two playable protagonists, alongside Lucia Caminos, forming the duo at the heart of the game's story.

Rockstar's official character description states that Jason grew up around grifters and crooks. After a stint in the Army trying to shake off his troubled teens, he found himself in the Leonida Keys doing what he knows best: working for local drug runners.
He ends up staying at a property owned by Brian Heder, an established figure in the Keys' drug trade, in Key Lento, in exchange for helping with local business.
